Expert-made technical activewear
With us, you will be able to give your customers the best fit and best performing technical sportswear/gym clothing for three reasons:
- We are a custom clothing manufacturer that always starts from scratch when it comes to our clients’ clothes
- We have machines and experts that offer full customization
- Since 2005, we’ve helped many sports experts build their clothes exactly how they want them
Making bespoke sportswear has been our MO ever since 2005. Custom activewear was 95% of our production up until 2020 and the cursed pandemic. Every piece of sportswear you can see on our website is custom-made, even a seemingly plain-looking t-shirt.
Custom fabrics professionals
We have an award-winning textile expert in our ranks – Milovan Ristić. In the glory days of the textile industry in our country, Milovan won the Golden Doe award twice. Both times for innovation in circular knitting (these awards were like the Oscars of the textile industry in former Yugoslavia). Due to his expertise, we’re able to create and recreate almost any knitting pattern our clients ask us to. And because we manufacture our fabrics, we are ready for sudden reorders.
Keep in mind that we only work with circular knitting machines. That is why Milovan will not be able to help you if you need seamless clothing. That is because different machines to the ones we own make those clothes.
Activewear manufacturers – case study
You can find the best example of our custom clothing cooperation in ourBelgrade Running Club case study.
That’s where you’ll learn how local running experts helped us fine-tune their clothing line to perfection.
Sustainable activewear
Because we’re GRS-certified, you can count on us to make sustainable activewear for your brand. Activewear that you can prove comes from genuinely recycled polyester. How, you ask? With the GRS certificate, we can attach labels and hangtags to your clothing that show that your collection comes from a certified source that uses at least 70% recycled polyester. Also, customers are already aware of this certificate.
And that’s our sustainable feature you can take advantage of immediately. We also use solar power to make clothing. By 2030, you’ll surely want to work with a manufacturer that relies on solar for electricity, because it will affect your CO2 score, which will go on your digital product passport.
FUSH˚: one-stop-shop for all your brand’s needs
When you choose us as your activewear manufacturer, you get the entire production process done in our factories in Serbia. That translates to faster turnaround and higher quality. Take a virtual tour through our facility in Oraovica.
Let’s see what exactly is that entire production process:
- 1. Design (optional)
- 2. Pattern cutting and grading
- Printing (dye sublimation, digital, heat transfer, screen printing – all optional)
- 3. Sewing and embroidery
- 4. Quality control and packing
- 5. Delivery (we deliver with our trucks and vans for most orders in Europe*)
- 6. Consultation from our account managers throughout the process
In addition to various sportswear and activewear, we also make athleisure and many sorts of streetwear.
*Svalbard and other remote islands/other difficult-to-reach settlements are not included. Orders from such areas will be handled by external delivery service providers.
Machines that ensure perfect custom activewear
In our case, the list starts with the circular knitting machines. With them, we can customize the fabrics to perfection. We can tweak their GSM value (gram per square meter) or make variations to standard knitting patterns. Some of those include interlock, single jersey, 2-thread fleece, french terry, rib, milano rib, ottoman and bird’s eye.
To ensure your products don’t cause chafing, your clothing manufacturer should use flatlock sewing machines. Without them, flat seams are impossible to make. And without flat seams, there’s no seamless feel to your activewear. There are dozens of these machines in our factories.
And as far as customization goes, your manufacturers must have dye-sublimation printers and calenders. With this machinery, they can print many design solutions on paper and then transfer them to the fabric. The result is fantastic colours resistant to machine washing.
Not only that FUSH˚ factories have enough printers and calenders to carry these operations out, but we were also the first company in Europe to test Epson’s then-prototype SureColor SC-F9400H. That’s a printer that uses fluorescent inks (this wasn’t possible until early 2020).
That’s a wrap! Below you’ll find the answers to the most common questions. If you need more information from us fill out the super-brief contact form at the bottom of the page. FAQ
What is your minimum order quantity?
Our MOQ is 500 pcs per style/colour in any size. This means that you must order at least 500 pcs for each design and/or colour but in those 500 pcs you can have as many sizes as you want.
Do you provide sampling services?
Yes, that’s the cornerstone of our business model because we mostly operate as a custom clothing manufacturer. We do charge them €100 per sample and we charge the service 100% in advance and won’t be refunded from the bulk order.
What is the sample lead time?
Depending on the complexity of your order and our seasonal availability, anywhere between 10-30 days.
Are there any import fees I should know about?
Serbia has signed a free trade agreement with the EU so the only fee that you are supposed to pay is the fixed customs clearance fee. They never cost more than 100€/100£ regardless of the value of your order.
How do you make gym leggings?
- High breathability
- Great sweat-wicking properties
- Knitting pattern that makes them compressible
- Flat seams or no seams
To make gym leggings, you need to have fabrics that have the above characteristics. A fitness clothing manufacturer would either buy such fabrics or make them if they have the machinery for them. Breathable and sweat-wicking fabrics are a must because those are the only fabrics that will withstand increased sweating while staying dry and functional. Fabric with a knitting pattern that ensures compression is essential for high-intensity training because leggings made from it would be able to reduce muscle strain. Leggings with flat seams or no seams eliminate chafing altogether. There’s no real difference between the flat seam and seamless leggings in terms of comfort.
What is activewear and athleisure?
Activewear and athleisure are clothes you can wear to the gym, for a run, or to play a sport. You can also lounge in your living room in them, as both are, above all, comfortable. However, clothing like compressive activewear might not be as comfy as athleisure when it comes to sitting around the flat watching your favourite series for the umpteenth time. To the same effect, athleisure won’t help you reduce muscle strain because it doesn’t have the technical features to facilitate your workout.
