Even though it isn’t in the EU, Serbia has signed a free trade agreement with the EU. With that in mind, the only fee you’ll pay is the fixed customs clearance fee for import (around 100€ regardless of the order value).
An impeccable product can be only made by really reliable clothing manufacturers. And there are a couple of factors to look into when picking the right supplier for your startup.

This method of applying colour to the fabric is the ecological lifeline for the synthetic fibres. That’s because it is possible to colour them while making zero negative impact on the environment. As opposed to traditional dyeing, you won’t use 200 l of water to dye 1kg of recycled polyester clothes. Not only that but you wouldn’t use any harmful substances along the way. With water-based inks, all you do is use 5 ml of water that’s already in the dye. And that’s enough to colour 1kg of clothes. Not only that, but the sublimation ink penetrates the fibre on a cellular level and doesn’t wash away.
Naturally, nearshoring - the practice of transferring a business operation to a nearby country, momentarily eliminates the first three caveats of the offshoring model:
1. Language barrier
2. Cultural differences
3. The time zone difference
Not all suppliers include fabric knitting in their cut and sew apparel manufacturing. Often times, they will get their fabric from an external source(s). And those sources aren’t under your watchful eye as a clothing brand. Which means the quality of the fabric becomes a variable. And the quality must be a constant.
