How Circular Knitting Machines Work?
To put it simply, they turn yarn into fabric. A red circular knitting machine you saw in the video has 5000 needles and is capable of making 23 kg of interlock fabric in 8 hours.
Obviously, we as a business can participate by donating money. But we can also participate by donating our services. And so far this year, we've done it twice.
Once for an awesome organisation "Potpiši Prodiši" (“Signatures for Better Air” would be the closest translation) and once for Belgrade Marathon and their efforts to help people with disabilities have better access to sporting facilities. The campaign of 34th instalment of this race is called "Bez Barijera" (Without Barriers).
Instead of the 3 animals, these individual machines make it up - STP-900, PV-35, and KL-50, each with a different mission. First folds, second packages, third fastens and boxes the bagged clothes. Together, they’re able to fold, pack, and box up to 6000 pieces of clothes in an eight-hour shift.
We have already assigned a budget to make our factory in south-eastern Serbia a solar-powered one. Mid-2021, we should start creating solar energy.
And what we did was, for the most part, start from scratch. That means we’ve installed new electric wiring, modernized the electric switch boxes, changed the heating piping, installed the first plumbing piping ever in all the buildings, as well as sewage piping and a wastewater treatment plant.
